The successful candidate will be responsible for or assist with the following duties but not be limited to: Assist with the quarterly financial reporting process, including (but not limited to) consolidations, lead-sheet preparation, high-level accounting entries, calculation of some of the more complex entries, for example: decommissioning liabilities, depletion, foreign exchange, stock-based compensation Assisting in the preparation of the quarterly financial statements and MD&A; Preparation of monthly/quarterly account reconciliations as well as regular internal financial analysis and reporting Assisting with the preparation of the monthly reporting package for management, including variance analysis Provide accounting support to other members of the finance team, including data gathering, analysis, modeling, etc. Ad-hoc financial analysis The successful candidate will be responsible for or assist with the following duties but not be limited to: Assist with the quarterly financial reporting process, including (but not limited to)

The successful candidate needs to have experience in the following areas in order to be qualified for this role: CPA with 3-5 years post designation experience Experience in the oil and gas industry, preferably E&P; companies Experience with publicly listed Canadian companies Skills
