GCS Group runs active telecom HDD crews out of Red Deer and we need an Intermediate Telecom HDD Locator who can hold their own on a busy job site. At this level we're looking for someone who has moved past the basics — you know SubSite, you've worked alongside drill operators, and you can manage a locate from start to finish without constant direction.

Key Responsibilities
- Independently execute locate duties on telecom HDD bores across central Alberta
- Set up, calibrate, and operate SubSite locating systems on each bore
- Maintain active communication with Ditch Witch drill operators throughout bore operations
- Identify utility conflicts and ground anomalies and communicate them immediately
- Record bore data accurately and support field documentation requirements
- Provide guidance to junior locators on site regarding equipment and procedures
What We're Looking For
- Solid field experience in HDD locating on telecom or utility construction projects
- Proven hands‑on competency with SubSite locating technology
- Comfortable working in coordination with Ditch Witch drill crews
- All certifications must be current and verified prior to your start date
- Self‑directed with strong situational awareness on active construction sites
- Valid driver's licence

REQUIRED CERTIFICATES
