The RK works withCCA Recognized Prior Learning (RPL) Program in collaboration with the Health Association Nova Scotia (HANS). Upon successful completion of the program, you will receive a CCA Certification from Nova Scotia Department of Health and Wellness.Current Funding Assistance is provided for Phase I and Phase 2 and first Exam by Department of Seniors in Long Term Care (DSLTC ). Not every candidate will be approved funding; funding is available short-term and allocated by Zone. Condition of funding; the RPL Recipientagrees upon application to provide a return service commitment which takes effect immediately following NS Certifications available on first come first serve basis via Dept Health and successful candidates are required to sign a return-to-work agreement of two years following certification with the R.K.What is RPL (Recognized Prior Learning)?Become a CCA while working full time, with hands- on experience and online educationPath 1 Recognizes work life experiences, employment, and all prior education/ Path II – PSW/PCW etc. to CCATuition, books,
