Hello, we are a family in North York, Ontario seeking an elder care provider to join our home. This is a part-time live-in position as a companion and home care assistant for our elderly family member. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering medication, assisting with bathing, and providing personal care as needed.The ideal candidate speaks tagalog, which is my mother's native tongue, has at least 5 years experience as a care-provider to people with dementia and mobility impairments. She practices the art of gentle persuasion to help the Elder with day-to-day tasks, including showering and exercising, cooks and has the ability to keep the house in order (clean, buy groceries, help do minor errands). I am willing to be adaptable with the right fit.The hourly rate for this position starts at $21.00, inclusive of room and board. This position is available immediately.
