stocking and rotating of supplies and canned foods to prevent spoiling and expirationImplement Health and Safety Standards throughout the centre ensuring legislative requirements are metThe successful applicant will possess:Grade 12 education or an equivalent combination of education and experienceFood Handler's Certification or be willing to certify upon hireA valid/current Standard First Aid Certification and Infant and Child CPR CertificationExperience working with pre-school children, toddlers, and school age childrenPrior experience in food service/handlingKnowledge of the Child Care and Early Years Act, 2014, Child and Family Services Act, WHMIS, health and nutrition guidelines and Health Protection and Promotion Act as well as applicable Regional policies and proceduresExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficient time management and behaviour management skillsThe ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with individuals from diverse backgrounds; skills in adapting language and tone for inclusivity and clarityThe ability to work as part of a team and independentlyThe ability to work under pressure in stressful situationsCUPE 1764 Salary Grade 1This position is with Salary Grade 1 and will be paid at the following hourly rates: Start:
