Serve international students as a Part-Time Immigration Advisor at Doon campus in Kitchener. Provide expert immigration guidance for study and work permits in a hybrid work model.
Reporting to the Manager of International Transition Services, the Immigration Advisor will offer professional advice on Canadian immigration matters throughout students' academic journeys. The role includes compliance with IRCC regulations, ensuring students are informed about requirements for study and work permits. Ideal candidates will possess a strong knowledge of immigration policy and be committed to supporting student success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide one-on-one immigration advising to students and parents
• Advise on study and work permits and other immigration matters




• Assess academic and immigration scenarios for compliance concerns
• Collaborate with advisors to create study plans for students
• Develop workshops and information sessions on immigration policies
Requirements:
• Three-year diploma or degree in relevant fields
• Designation as RISIA or RCIC in valuable standing
• Minimum three years of immigration experience
• Knowledge of Canada immigration rules for international students
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
