Grandview Kids invites applications for the Privacy and Health Records Manager role. This on-site, full time contract position emphasizes the management of health information privacy and compliance.
As a coordinator under the Clinical Information and Systems Manager, you will ensure the confidentiality of client records and develop privacy policies tailored to best practices. Collaborate effectively with staff, conduct audits, and provide education to mitigate privacy risks within the organization. You will directly contribute to enhancing the overall health services offered to children and youth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Draft and manage health records privacy policies
• Conduct privacy audits and compliance monitoring




• Report on privacy breaches per established guidelines
• Educate staff and respond to privacy inquiries
• Manage consent forms and record requests
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years in health privacy management
• CHIMA certification is mandatory
• CIPP/C certification with relevant expertise required
• Proficient communication and negotiation skills
• Valid Ontario Driver’s License and access to reliable transportation
