Lead high-quality youth programs at BGC East Scarborough as a full-time Program Coordinator. Focus on developing, implementing, and evaluating engaging programs for children aged 6-14.
This on-site role requires a College or university degree in Child and Youth work or related fields, with at least 5 years of experience working with children. You’ll ensure programs comply with relevant regulations, work collaboratively with site supervisors, and mentor staff to promote excellence in service delivery and program quality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and evaluate out-of-school programs for children • Implement safety and maintenance procedures effectively • Collaborate with site supervisors on program planning • Collect data for ongoing project evaluations • Prepare materials for community outreach and engagement
Requirements: • Degree in Child and Youth work or related field • Minimum 5 years working with youth aged 6-12 • Standard First Aid and CPR certification required • Robust interpersonal and communication skills • Reliable vehicle and ability to travel for community engagement
