Description The Student Success Systems Team in the Office of the Registrar is currently seeking a Full time Limited Term Student Success Systems Analyst for approximately 2 years. Reporting to the Manager, Student Success Systems, this position is responsible for leading business analysis, solution design, implementation planning, and continuous improvement activities related to the University's Student Success technology ecosystem. The Student Success Solutions Analyst serves as the primary resource for translating institutional business needs into sustainable system solutions that support the student lifecycle from prospect through graduation. The position works closely with faculties, administrative units, Information Technologies, reporting teams, vendors, and functional analysts to design, implement, and optimize business processes and technology solutions. The Analyst functions as a senior technical and functional resource within the Student Success Systems team and provides guidance to Student Success Functional Analysts regarding solution design, business requirements, testing approaches, configuration standards, and implementation practices. This work directly supports institutional priorities related to student engagement, advising, retention, communications, recruitment, admissions, awards administration, student support, and student success initiatives. Summary of Key Responsibilities (job functions include but are not limited to): In addition to duties assigned directly by the manager, the Student Success Systems Analyst is responsible for the following tasks and duties: Business Analysis and Solution Design Lead requirements elicitation workshops and consultation sessions. Conduct stakeholder analysis and identify business needs.



Perform current-state and future-state process analysis. Conduct gap analysis and solution assessments. Develop business requirements, use cases, user stories, and functional specifications. Create workflow models, process maps, swimlane diagrams, and solution documentation. Recommend system design approaches that support institutional priorities and long-term sustainability. Provide core system documentation and maintain system decision registers and design documentation. Implementation Configuration, Planning and Coordination Support implementation planning and sequencing activities. Conduct configuration activities to support Business Analysis designs and recommendations. Coordinate work across Student Success Functional Analysts, IT teams, reporting teams, and vendors. Identify dependencies, risks, and implementation considerations. Support project plans, implementation schedules, and readiness assessments. Monitor solution delivery against business requirements. Governance and Continuous Improvement Support governance processes for new system requests and enhancements. Escalate requests and concerns when noted. Evaluate impacts of proposed changes. Design and support security configurations. Support roadmap development and long-term planning activities. Conduct research and assessment of new product capabilities as they become available. Support release planning and product improvement initiatives. Testing and Quality Assurance Develop testing strategies and test scenarios. Conduct system integration testing for implemented solutions. Coordinate user acceptance testing activities. Validate delivered solutions against business requirements. Ensure solution quality and consistency across implementations. Training and Change Management Support development of training programs and materials. Conduct knowledge
