Reporting to theElectrical & Instrumentation Supervisor, the successful candidate will support preventive, predictive, corrective, turnaround, and emergency maintenance activities. Key responsibilities include installing, calibrating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing process analyzers, analyzer sample conditioning systems, and associated instrumentation to ensure accurate and reliable process measurements. The successful candidate will also provide support for general instrumentation maintenance & Turnaround activities as required. This role offers an opportunity to be part of a dedicated team, ensuring the safe, reliable, efficient, and environmentally responsible operation of the Woodfibre LNG facility.Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful applicant will:Support start-up and operations of the LNG plantTroubleshoot and repair process analyzers such as Gas Chromatographs, Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems (CEMS), Reid Vapor Pressure (RVP) analyzers, moisture analyzers, oxygen analyzers, and associated analyzer sample conditioning systemsTroubleshoot and repair ABB PGC5000 and PGC1000 Gas Chromatographs, ABB AO2000 Continuous Emissions Monitoring System (CEMS), ABB RVP4501 Analyzer, and associated analyzer equipmentAssist with the maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, and repair of other process instrumentation and control systems, as required, to support plant operations and maintenance activitiesUtilize remote connectivity and digital support platforms, as required, to perform diagnostics, configuration,



testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of analyzer systems in collaboration with Operations, Engineering, OEMs, and third-party service providersSupport Process Safety Management - Maintain analyzer systems that support process safety, environmental compliance, and operational integrity. SIS awareness, Alarm philosophy, Functional SafetyInspect, test, calibrate, and validate analyzer systems to ensure accurate and reliable process measurements using electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and analytical testing equipmentPerform scheduled preventive, predictive, and emergency maintenance on analyzer systems, completing all maintenance reports, calibration records, and equipment history documentationPerform mechanical work associated with analyzer repair and modification, including the removal and installation of tubing, sample lines, regulators, filters, sample conditioning equipment, and analyzer componentsPerform analyzer calibration using certified calibration gases and reference standards while maintaining measurement accuracy and compliance with manufacturer recommendationsTroubleshoot analyzer communication interfaces with the ICSS, PLCs, and associated control systemsProvide day-to-day support to ensure maximum reliability and availability of analyzer systems while working towards achieving plant reliability goals and measuring the effectiveness of maintenance programsReview process flow diagrams, analyzer drawings, sample system drawings, equipment lists, and technical specifications to develop and execute maintenance activitiesCollaborate with Operations, Engineering, Reliability, and third-party analyzer service providers to support plant performance and reliabilityContribute to the continuous improvement of maintenance key performance indicatorsHSSE100% compliance with company HSE policies and guidelinesChampion HSE as a member of the LNG Operations TeamLead HSE Shift Meeting/ safety walks/audits if and when requiredTimely intervention to mitigate risks and ensure the safety of personnel and plantDemonstrate a personal commitment to influence overall safety behavior in the plantSafeguarding systems check lists are implemented/completed by Shift Operations to agreed frequencies and standardsExecute plant wide operations hazards awareness program.Initiate inputs for plant risk register and mitigation tracking process for operationsRequirementsRequired ExperienceMinimum of 5+ years of relevant industrial maintenance experienceA valid BC Journeyman Instrumentation Technician Certificate or Red Seal Instrumentation Technician certification. Dual ticket would be an asset.Experience with ABB PGC5000, ABB PGC1000, ABB AO2000 CEMS, and ABB RVP4501 analyzersExperience with analyzer sample conditioning systems and calibration gas systemsKnowledge of regulatory requirements in BCProficiency with Yokogawa control systemsCommissioning and start-up experienceKnowledge of DCS systems, PLCs, HMI systems, and industrial communicationsExperience with analyzer calibration, validation, and troubleshootingPrevious experience using a Project Resource Manager (PRM) and Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), such as SAPAdditional RequirementsEnergetic in pursuit of continuous improvement processesExperience working with large multi-disciplinary teams, and contractors in a multicultural environment is an asset.Communication/interpersonal skills - to be able to interact with front line workers through to management and all hierarchical levels.Exceptional written and verbal communication skillsMotivated and willing to take ownership of tasksAbility to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks, targets and changing priorities within tight time framesShares knowledge readily and encourages personal developmentDemonstrated computer knowledge with experience in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, etcA valid driver's license (with abstract) and passportMust be legally entitled to work in CanadaThis role will be a combination of office and site-based roleThe position is based in Squamish, BC (Project Site), and work in the Company's Vancouver Office as required.Only qualified candidates legally entitled to work in Canada will be contacted.Woodfibre Management Ltd. is an equal opportunity employer.Woodfibre LNG reserves the right to amend the job description, including the title, duties, and qualification from time to time in its sole discretion.BenefitsHourly Rate: CAD $60/hr#J-18808-Ljbffr
