We are seeking a driven and experienced
Store Manager
to lead overall store performance, with a strong focus on profitability, operational excellence, and outstanding customer service. This role oversees key store functions, including merchandising, staffing, inventory, and compliance, while building a high-performing and inclusive team.
The Store Manager will execute business strategies, develop and coach team members, maintain robust operational and financial results, and create a positive experience for both customers and the local community.
Schedule & Compensation:
This position requires open availability, including weekends, holidays, and closing shifts, with flexibility to support business needs.
Starting Salary:
$65k/ annually, plus applicable performance incentives.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Store Operations
– Provide leadership across customer experience, sales, merchandising, inventory, and daily store execution.
Lead & Develop the Team
– Coach, mentor, and develop the Assistant Store Manager and store team through effective training, feedback, and performance management.
Recruit & Staff Effectively
– Oversee recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and staffing to ensure the store is properly supported.
Drive Sales & Profitability
– Monitor key performance metrics, identify opportunities, and implement strategies to improve sales and overall store performance.
Maintain Operational Excellence
– Ensure the store is clean, organized, protected, and customer-ready while maintaining established operational standards.
Manage Financial Performance
– Oversee payroll, labor costs, budgets, and operating expenses to support financial objectives.
Build a High-Performing Culture
– Foster a positive, inclusive,
and engaged team environment through strong communication, recognition, and accountability.
Ensure Compliance & Safety
– Maintain compliance with company policies, health and safety requirements, and applicable operational standards.
Protect People & Assets
– Implement loss prevention practices and appropriately manage incidents, safety concerns, and operational risks.
Drive Business Initiatives
– Partner with leadership to execute business initiatives, improve operational efficiency, and achieve organizational objectives.
What You Bring:
5+ years of progressive retail management experience , including at least 3 years in a Store Manager or General Manager role.
Strong financial and operational acumen , with experience in budgeting, labor management, expense control, and performance analysis.
Proven leadership experience
with the ability to coach, develop, and motivate teams in a fast-paced retail environment.
Strong KPI and business analysis skills , with the ability to use data to make informed decisions and drive performance.
Technology proficient , with experience using POS systems, reporting tools, and other retail technology.
Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills , with the ability to effectively manage customers, teams, and operational challenges.
Experience supporting new store openings or business growth initiatives
is considered an asset.
Experience managing high-volume retail operations
is preferred.
