REGISTERED PRACTICAL NURSE – OBS/SURGICAL INPATIENT

(CASUAL)

One (1) casual RPN prospect is available in the OBS/Surgical Inpatient unit at Groves Memorial Community Hospital.

This position is unionized with UNIFOR, Local 1106.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Current Registration with the Ontario College of Nurses
- Maternal Child/Post Partum course preferred
- Breastfeeding Course preferred
- Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) preferred
- BCLS Certification
- Updated IV course and IV Med Administration – mandatory within 3 months of hire
- Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Experience in working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary setting
- Demonstrated life long learner
- Willing and able to work in a team environment

- Satisfactory performance and attendance required
- Satisfactory Reference Checks required prior to start date




- Must provide a Police Vulnerable Sector Check
- Must complete a Pre-Employment Health Assessment prior to being hired

HOURS:

- Must be available for day, evening and night shifts; as per department schedule

SALARY:

- $37.69 - $39.17 per hour

by 4:00pm on August 27, 2026.
