Join Agnico Eagle as an Underground Geologist, where you will utilize advanced geological practices to enhance mining operations. This role is pivotal for providing quality geological insights to maximize resource extraction.

As part of the Geology Department, you will report to the Underground Production Geology Coordinator. The position requires your expertise in drill hole planning, core logging, sampling, and mapping, while ensuring compliance with QA/QC standards. Additionally, you'll engage in daily production follow-up activities and promote Agnico Eagle’s commitment to health, safety, and environmental stewardship.

Key Responsibilities:



• Manage geological projects assigned by the Production Geology Supervisor • Map and digitize underground development efficiently • Ensure timely follow-up of underground production activities • Assist in accurate geological record management • Participate in ore tracking for underground and stockpile materials

Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Geology or Geological Engineering • Registered with NAPEG required • Minimum 5 years of geology experience • At least 1 year in underground production • Knowledge of Deswik and DHLogger software is a plus
