Advance police training with the Edmonton Police Service by designing impactful educational courses. This Training Specialist role emphasizes a blend of classroom and eLearning initiatives.
As a Training Specialist I - Curriculum Designer, you will create innovative educational programs for the Edmonton Police Service. Your expertise in instructional design and adult learning will play a key role in developing impactful training materials. Collaborate with subject matter experts and maintain key partnerships to ensure comprehensive training supports the development of EPS members.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop effective and engaging eLearning and classroom courses
• Assess training needs and create structured project plans




• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders on course content
• Maintain relationships with external training agencies
• Produce instructional aids and course materials
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Education or similar degree
• At least two years in adult education or curriculum design
• Strong skills in Articulate Storyline and Microsoft Office
• Proficient in Adobe Suite for training material design
• Solid ability to guide subject matter experts
