This role combines hands‑on fieldwork with leadership and client‑facing responsibilities. You will oversee field testing programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and mentor junior technicians, all while maintaining the highest standards of safety and data integrity. This posting represents a currently available role.Department Source Employment Type Permanent - Full Time Location Guelph, ON Workplace type Onsite Compensation $100,000 - $150,000 / year Reporting To Mason SakshaugKey ResponsibilitiesLead and perform on‑site stack testing and source emissions monitoring in accordance with federal and regional regulatory methods (e.G., EPA Reference Methods, ECCC).Plan and manage field deployments, including crew logistics, equipment preparation,



and safety procedures.Analyze collected data and ensure QA/QC protocols are strictly followed throughout testing and reporting processes.Serve as a technical liaison with clients, regulators, and internal teams to communicate project scope, progress, and findings.Train, mentor, and supervise junior field technicians and new team members.Troubleshoot and maintain analytical and sampling skills equipment, ensuring accuracy and reliability.Support project scoping, scheduling, and budgeting in collaboration with project managers and senior leadership.Keep current with evolving environmental regulations and industry best practices, proactively adapting procedures and technologies.Prepare high‑quality technical reports, including regulatory documentation, emissions data summaries, and field observations.Skills, Knowledge & ExpertisePost‑secondary education in Environmental Technology, Engineering, Chemistry or a related field is an assetA minimum of 5‑years’ experience working in the Air Quality Testing fieldPractical expertise In OSTC and EPA Source testing methodologiesStrong computer and analytical technical “hands‑on” skillsAn aptitude for practical problem‑solvingField/site experience is a definite assetMust be legally eligible to work in the United States.Must have a valid driver's license.Candidates Should Also PossessExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong people and team skills as well as being highly motivatedAn ability to work in a rapid‑paced team environment with no supervisionExceptional organizational capabilities, coordination, and consultation skillsWillingness to travel, and work outdoors including working long hours, evenings, and weekendsCollect samples at locations that may require working at heights and outdoors in all weather conditionsJob BenefitsSalary: $100,000.00 - 150,000.00 depending on experienceComprehensive Health BenefitsOpportunities for career advancementTravel perks and adventure opportunitiesA supportive and inclusive workplace cultureLearning Spending
