Transform adult education as an Instructor at the Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies on the Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation. This role focuses on motivating adult students in a supportive learning environment.
In this position, you will instruct eight courses for the Adult 12 program, developing comprehensive lesson plans and course materials. You will be responsible for integrating technology into your teaching, fostering inclusivity, and promoting academic integrity. Your collaborative approach will enhance relationships with students and colleagues while ensuring a positive, disciplined classroom setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and execute engaging lesson plans
• Create and manage course materials and records
• Utilize technology to enhance the learning process
• Build positive working relationships with all stakeholders
• Maintain classroom discipline and recommend appropriate actions
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Education from an accredited institution
• Eligibility for a Saskatchewan teaching certificate
• Understanding of adult learning theories desirable
• Awareness of First Nations cultures preferred
• Effective communication and teamwork competencies
