The Administrative Assistant will report directly to the Executive Director of Indigenous Initiatives and will play a key role in administrative and support tasks for both the Gathering Space and Indigenous Upgrading Program teams. In-person collaboration with various departments and the community is essential to enrich student support services and maintain an inclusive workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage front desk operations and visitor engagement
• Handle incoming inquiries via phone and email
• Assist in the administration of student services and programs
• Organize schedules, meetings, and documentation
• Monitor and maintain physical space and community amenities
Requirements:
• A two-year diploma in Indigenous Studies or related field
• Minimum of 3 years’ administrative experience
• Familiarity with Indigenous cultures and reconciliation processes
• Excellent communication and multitasking skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and other digital tools
