To pursue its development, GMining Services is looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to fill the position of: Senior Mechanical Engineer – Mining Project Design Summary of Responsibilities and Career Prospects Reporting to the Director of the Mechanical and Piping Engineering Department, the incumbent will serve as Project Lead for the team responsible for managing the planning, construction and development of mining projects.



This position offers real potential for advancement into technical leadership or team management responsibilities, including as a senior engineer, discipline or team lead, based on demonstrated experience, performance, interests, and organizational needs. Establish and validate design criteria, calculations, design philosophies and technical solutions applicable to the mechanical systems of mining and ore processing facilities. Carry out and supervise the mechanical design of systems and equipment, including those for crushing, grinding, material handling, pumping, slurry, process water and tailings as required by projects. Prepare and review technical specifications, technical data sheets, equipment requisitions, technical bid evaluations, recommendation reports and equipment specifications. Develop and validate general layouts, equipment placement, operational and maintenance access points, and the integration of equipment into 3D models.
