This term position is open exclusively to current CUPE 556 employees and entails on-site work for up to six months. Duties include providing administrative assistance, managing site contact responsibilities, and ensuring safety protocols. You'll serve as a key communication point, assisting with public notifications, handling project documentation, and supporting health and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide administrative support to operational managers
• Serve as the first point of contact for the control centre
• Oversee shipping, receiving,



and delivery processing
• Manage health and safety documentation and incident responses
• Update website pages and assist with public communications
Requirements:
• 1-2 years experience in public works administrations
• Education in office administration (post-secondary)
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Valid BC Class 5 driver's license
• Forklift Operator certification
