Agilent Technologies is seeking an Instrumentation Technician to ensure the reliability of critical control systems. This full-time position focuses on installation, calibration, and maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
This role requires a diploma in Instrumentation or a related field, with experience in process instrumentation and control systems. The technician will engage closely with Operations, Engineering, and Quality teams to ensure safe and efficient plant operations. Responsibilities include troubleshooting instruments, performing preventive maintenance, and supporting various control system operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install and calibrate process instrumentation and control systems • Troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation-related equipment failures • Conduct preventive maintenance activities to boost reliability • Review technical documentation and interpret diagrams • Support PLC, HMI, and SCADA system maintenance
Requirements: • Diploma in Instrumentation or equivalent experience • Minimum 1 year in a manufacturing environment • Robust troubleshooting skills in electrical and automation equipment • Ability to read technical schematics • Certification in instrumentation preferred
