About the role: Reporting to the Drill and Blast Engineer, Mine Engineering,



the Engineer-in-Training is responsible for: designing blast patterns, generating loading instructions, and determining blast timing in a safe, environmentally responsible, and efficient manner. The position follows a 4x4 day shift schedule. To be successful, we require someone with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, who works well as an individual and as a team player. This person has strong analytical, logistical, and problem-solving skills, and can prioritize demands in a fast-paced workplace. EVR believes in supporting career development. While the initial role will be as an EIT, Drill & Blast, the successful candidate for this position can expect to rotate into other roles on the engineering team as they build experience towards their P.Eng application.
