The Town of Caledon seeks an enthusiastic Equipment Operator to engage in road maintenance and winter programs. You will operate both small and heavy equipment, conduct routine maintenance, and perform inspections of road conditions. This role requires a valid DZ/AZ license and a solid commitment to safety guidelines and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:



• Participate in winter road maintenance programs like plowing and salting • Operate small and heavy equipment for various road tasks • Conduct daily maintenance checks and safety inspections • Report road conditions and participate in training programs • Maintain compliance with occupational safety regulations

Requirements: • Grade 12 completion or equivalent • Valid DZ or AZ driver’s license with few demerit points • Minimum 2 years of heavy equipment operation experience • Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work irregular hours
