Position: Membership Service Representative

Department: Membership Experience

Reports to: Team Lead, Membership Experience

Position Summary
The Membership Service Representative supports the mandate and goals of the Membership team by providing superior customer service while promoting, renewing, and upselling our ticket products to existing and potential ticket members.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of assigned accounts and develop strong professional relationships with Canucks ticket Members to meet standards of excellence and guarantee renewals

Outreach proactively by calling, emailing, and setting up in person meetings with assigned Member accounts to strengthen relationships and ensure renewals

Support the 899.GOAL line and general ticket inquiries, responding in a timely manner with the appropriate solution

Strategically manage Member requests and expectations and assist with game day requirements

Contribute to revenue growth and retention by promoting, renewing, and selling ticket products and services such as full, half, and quarter season Memberships, and group, minor hockey, and single game tickets

Follow up with outstanding accounts and declined payments in a timely manner

Participate in various Member events and execute on fulfilling Member perks throughout the season

Perform game night duties including Season Ticket Member of the Game, game night ticketing issues, and unique Member experiences





Communicate and carry out service policies and procedures to Members in the most professional manner

Perform administrative support for team, as necessary

Required Experience And Qualifications

Post-secondary education in a related field such as Business, Marketing or Sports Management

Keen interest for working in the sports industry

A go-getter, results-oriented attitude, with drive and the initiative to succeed and be persistent

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite

Excellent people skills, with the ability to interact professionally and effectively with internal and external clients at all levels

Effective time management skills and the ability to multitask in a energetic, fast-paced environment

Polished presentation skills with an ability to think quickly and react to situations confidently

Ability and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Good working knowledge of presentation and desktop publishing software is an asset
