Elevate mental health support as a Wellness Coach with Greater St. Albert Catholic Schools. This part-time role focuses on addiction prevention and mental health promotion for youth and families in our community.
As part of the Mental Health Capacity Building Initiative team, the Wellness Coach develops and delivers evidence-based programs that enhance knowledge and skills regarding mental health. You will work directly in schools and community settings to engage and uplift students and families. Relationship-building with parents, community members, and school staff is essential to effectively adapt to evolving community needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and deliver mental health education programs
• Collaborate with community partners and staff




• Conduct assessments to identify program needs
• Provide referrals to specialized health services
• Maintain compliance with Health Information Act regulations
Requirements:
• Degree in health or social sciences preferred
• Minimum 2 years experience in mental health
• Familiarity with addiction and mental health services
• Solid public speaking and facilitation skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
