Support student learning as an Educational Assistant with the Northwest Catholic District School Board at Our Lady of the Way School. This role focuses on assisting special program activities and ensuring student well-being.
As a full-time Educational Assistant, you will be instrumental in helping students succeed, starting from August 31, 2026, through January 31, 2027. You’ll work under the direction of teachers while implementing required modifications and providing necessary care for students. An ability to communicate effectively and manage diverse student needs is crucial.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in modifying educational programs to suit individual needs
• Provide physical support including feeding and hygiene




• Supervise students during lunch and recess
• Communicate changes in student needs with staff
• Contribute to monitoring student behavior and progress
Requirements:
• OSSD or equivalent required
• Educational Assistant course completion or similar
• 1-2 years of related experience
• Understanding of special education requirements
• Robust observation and problem-solving skills
