We are looking for a Master's student to join the Research Affiliate Program at the Lethbridge Research and Development Centre. This position offers hands-on experience in soil sampling, microbiological methods, and statistical analysis using R. Successful candidates will contribute essential research to improve agricultural practices, ensuring a positive impact on producers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Investigate soil microbial community composition and diversity • Conduct soil sampling and field experiments • Analyze soil health indicators based on irrigation practices • Utilize statistical tools to interpret research data • Communicate findings to industry stakeholders
Requirements: • Enrolled in a Master's program at the University of Lethbridge • Experience in molecular biology or field research • Knowledge of soil science or microbiology • Strong analytical and communication skills • Must maintain full-time student status
