Drive public awareness and community initiatives as the Communications Coordinator at the Seizure & Brain Injury Centre in Timmins, Ontario. This full time position emphasizes relationship-building and fundraising activities.

As a vital team member, you will develop and implement strategic communication plans, create engaging content across platforms, and coordinate fundraising and community outreach events. Your storytelling skills will highlight the Centre’s impact and strengthen its community connection and support for families affected by seizures and brain injuries.

Key Responsibilities:



• Manage and create content for social media and newsletters • Plan and coordinate impactful community events and initiatives • Build partnerships with local organizations and businesses • Evaluate success and areas for improvement in events • Support fundraising campaigns and donor engagement efforts

Requirements: • Degree in communications, marketing, or related field • Proven experience in event planning and social media marketing • Strong organizational and networking skills • Ability to work independently and collaboratively • Understanding of non-profit operations is a plus
