This role willbe responsible forworking within our local electrical team and designing project across various sectors such as commercial, institutional, educational, and healthcare while under the guidance of a senior engineer.
You will be able to work in a hybrid mode from theVancouver Downtown Office.
Primary Responsibilities
Design, drafting, and modelling of electrical systems for buildings including lighting, lighting controls, power distribution, communication, security, and fire alarm.
Working with engineers to ensure that design aspects have been incorporated.
Coordination with other building disciplines.
Design calculations under the supervision of a Senior Engineer.
Site visits to review existing site conditions or for documentation of ongoing construction projects.
Continued career development through participation in internal and external learning opportunities.
Qualifications
University degree in electrical engineeringwith 4 years ofexperience.
Eligible to registry withEGBCas in EIT
Familiarity with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, Projectand PowerPoint. REVIT is an asset
Experience on healthcare would be an asset.
Excellent English communication skills (both verbal and written)
Analytical, thorough,resourcefuland detail-oriented
Strong senseof personal responsibility andself starter
