You will leverage your extensive experience in managing safety programs while working collaboratively with various teams. Your focus will be on ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting audits, and developing proactive safety initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Guide and support in promoting workplace safety
• Develop and monitor safety programs for compliance
• Perform audits and inspections of safety practices




• Investigate major accidents and incidents thoroughly
• Liaise with regulatory agencies on safety standards
Requirements:
• University degree with 7-10 years of relevant experience
• Experience in a unionized industrial setting preferred
• Accredited safety certification essential
• Proficient in Canadian OH&S; legislation
• Strong mentoring and leadership abilities
