In the Eastern Zone at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, you will collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to provide psycho-social assessments and interventions. Your role will focus on youth aged 19 and younger, requiring at least two years of licensed clinical experience. You must bring expertise in cognitive behavioral therapy and crisis intervention to effectively contribute to our team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver time-limited psycho-social assessments and treatments
• Participate in consultation groups for collegial support




• Administer crisis interventions and risk assessments
• Collaborate with families regarding care plans
• Engage in harm reduction and addiction treatment strategies
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in psychology or social work
• Minimum two years of licensed clinical experience
• Knowledge of DSM-5 classification for mental health
• Skills in individual counseling and group therapy
• Registration with relevant provincial regulatory authority
