As a 1st Cook, you will play a key role in executing menu items while ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Your leadership will foster an effective training environment for recent hires and maintain top-quality food presentation. Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure high food quality and seasonal menu ideas
• Lead by example during kitchen shifts
• Train and mentor kitchen staff on best practices
• Supervise all cleanliness and operational standards
• Ensure all dishes are served with quality and correctness
Requirements:
• Minimum of 3-5 years culinary experience
• Must be available for breakfast hours starting at 7 AM
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Must possess Food Safe BC certification
• Willing to work flexible shifts including weekends
