Candidates should demonstrate knowledge of Canada’s Food Guide and food ratios for seniors. Robust physical stamina and attention to cleanliness are paramount in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored for senior residents
• Serve meals while ensuring food service area cleanliness
• Understand and implement dietary restrictions effectively
• Exhibit flexibility and teamwork within the kitchen
• Handle heavy pots and food supplies as needed
Requirements:
• Completion of High School Diploma
• Certification in Food Handlers Course
• WHMIS training important
• Level 4 Criminal Record Check required
• Familiarity with dietary needs for seniors
