Reporting to the Manager of the Rick Hansen Foundation School Program, the Youth Engagement Coordinator is responsible for direct engagement with youth via key initiatives like the Difference Maker of the Year Awards and the Youth Leadership Committee. This role emphasizes mentorship, advocacy, and networking to build leaders in accessibility and inclusion while promoting the global Youth Leadership Network.

Key Responsibilities:



• Plan and execute the Difference Maker of the Year Awards • Oversee nominations and enhance award promotions • Main contact for Youth Leadership Committee and award recipients • Coordinate mentorship opportunities and guest speakers • Maintain accurate program data and prepare reports

Requirements: • Minimum 3 years in program coordination or youth engagement • Proficiency in MS Office and virtual meeting tech • Solid communication and relationship-building skills • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM • Knowledge of disability inclusion and accessibility
