This position follows a hybrid work schedule with a minimum of 2 days onsite, though this requirement may vary based on business and operational needs.Primary FocusWe are seeking to fill two current openings on our Health Economics team. As aHealth Economist, you willberesponsible forassessing methods, data, results, andassumptions of economic evaluations; designing and conducting economic evaluations and budget impact analyses; and producing reports.Youwillparticipatein multidisciplinary research teams and lead the economiccomponentof projects (e.G., development of an economic evaluation, or review of an existing economic analysis of a health technology such as a drug, health device, or health system).What do the daily responsibilities look like?On any given day, the Health Economist will:critically appraise economic evaluations (model structure, model inputs, and assumptions) submitted by manufacturers or in the public domaindesign and undertake economic evaluations, budget impact analyses,



and reviews of economic evidence of drugs and health technologiesdevelop computer-based economic models for performing economic evaluations and budget impact analysis, as requiredlead and coordinate efforts of internal and external research team members to ensure project objectives are metprepare reports for interested partiesparticipate in expert committee or advisory committee meetings to present and/or provide clarification of economic findingswork with the guidance of the manager, to pull together economic information for reconsiderations and requests for advice for drug reviewsprovide input to, and review the reports of other researchers, including project team memberscontribute to process documentation and the continuous improvement of research processesrepresent the organization at conferences and other external meetings.Is this the right role for you?The Health Economist will likely have:aminimum of graduate degree in economics, mathematics, epidemiology, or public health, plus at least 2 to 4 years of relevant experience, specifically related to the development and/or critical assessment of economic evaluations and modelsa thorough understanding of health economic methods, with skill in computer-based decision analytics, simulation, and statistical modelling.
