The successful candidate will work at the North York Civic Centre, contributing to the city’s revenue services. The role necessitates extensive experience in property assessment and appraisal evaluation while engaging in research and analysis to identify critical issues. You'll prepare impactful reports, assist in tribunal representation, and develop financial models.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct financial and policy research in property taxation • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management • Review and prepare Statements of Issues and Response • Negotiate provisions and settlements with external parties • Identify market trends and liaise with MPAC
Requirements: • Post-secondary education in Property Assessment/Appraisal • Extensive experience in real estate assessment • Proficient with MS Office applications • Knowledge of municipal taxation legislation • Strong analytical and organizational skills
