Edge School is hiring a Full time High School Humanities Teacher starting August 20th, 2026. This enriching opportunity focuses on Grade 8 Language Arts, English 10-1, English 20, and Social Studies 20, with a commitment to student-centered learning methods.
We seek a passionate and flexible educator who fully aligns with our school's mission and vision. The successful candidate will excel in collaboration with students, staff, and parents. A strong foundation in Alberta’s program of studies is a must, alongside the ability to support the academic and athletic needs of our diverse student body.
Key Responsibilities: • Teach and foster learning in Grade 8 LA, English 10-1, English 20, and Social Studies 20 • Demonstrate commitment to Edge School’s mission and vision • Collaborate with parents,
students, and colleagues • Incorporate technology effectively into the curriculum • Address student-athlete needs in educational settings
Requirements: • Knowledge of Alberta’s educational framework • Experience in teaching high school level Humanities • Passion for developing student potential • Ability to implement effective, student-centered learning • Commitment to athletics and character education
