MAKING AN IMPACT
The Marketing Specialist, Quebec and French Canada helps ensure all French‑language marketing is clear, accurate and aligned with our brand. This role reviews and approves a wide range of marketing materials—from emails and digital content to full funnel advertising campaigns—to ensure they resonate with French‑speaking audiences and reflect the organization’s voice and visual standards. You’ll also support the Senior Marketing Manager in the delivery of French‑language campaigns and help adapt national initiatives to better connect with audiences in Quebec and across French Canada. This includes coordinating and trafficking of creative assets, managing internal approvals and set ups across campaigns. Working closely with internal teams, translation partners and external agencies, you’ll help keep projects on track and contribute to improving processes that make French‑language marketing more efficient and consistent across the organization.

What You’ll Be Doing
French language brand stewardship and marketing review

Act as the brand steward for French language marketing across the organization, ensuring all materials align with CCS brand guidelines, tone and positioning

Review and approve French marketing materials including but not limited to emails, direct mail, digital content, advertising, collateral, templates etc to ensure clarity and effectiveness in French

Serve as subject matter expert on French writing guidelines, brand VIGs and tone of voice

Partner with the translation team to resolve any feedback and ensure high quality final output

Identify risks, inconsistencies or gaps in messaging and socialize with Senior Marketing Manager

Support ongoing optimization of French language review processes and workflows

Support French advertising campaign execution

Support the Senior Marketing Manager with the development and execution of integrated French language advertising campaigns across Fundraising, mission and brand priorities

Assist with French adaptation of national campaigns to ensure relevance for Quebec and French Canada audiences





Support development and delivery of creative assets, including copy review, trafficking coordination and cross functional approvals

Collaborate with internal teams and external agency partners to ensure timely campaign execution

Contribute to campaign QA, ensuring accuracy and alignment across all deliverables

Support performance tracking and reporting by coordinating inputs from stakeholders

Cross functional collaboration and project coordination

Collaborate with Marketing Communications, Fundraising, Mission and Digital Solutions teams to support French language marketing needs

Coordinate with external vendors (Creative and media agencies) to support campaign delivery

Lead project management activities including timelines, status and document tracking, budgets and approvals

Contribute to process improvements to increase efficiency and consistency across French language workflows

Support French Story Centre needs, as required

Qualifications

Undergraduate degree, with a preferred focus of Marketing or advertising

More than 3 years of working experience in similar field

Bilingualism (French/English) is required due to the organization’s nationwide operations and the need for effective communication across various regions, and familiarity with the Quebec culture and market

Experience supporting marketing or advertising campaigns across traditional and digital channels

Solid experience reviewing, editing and adapting French language marketing content

Experience working with cross functional teams and managing multiple stakeholders

Familiarity with creative production and campaign execution workflows

Experience working with translation teams is an asset

Familiarity with digital marketing platforms (Google Ads, Meta etc) is an asset

Exceptional attention to detail and quality control (both written and visual content)

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills

Strong written and oral communication skills with a focus on clarity, tone and audience relevance

Proactive problem solving and ability to seek alignment across internal and external stakeholders
