As an Indigenous Hospital Liaison, you will provide support services tailored to First Nations, Metis, and Inuit clients in AHS facilities. Your role will include offering cultural guidance and recommendations to healthcare teams and participating in discharge planning. Emphasizing community empowerment, you will help improve healthcare access and equity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist FNMI clients in overcoming healthcare barriers
• Provide cultural recommendations to multidisciplinary teams
• Participate actively in patient discharge planning




• Facilitate cultural consultations across various healthcare settings
• Document service interactions for improved care
Requirements:
• Diploma or certificate in a health-related field
• Comprehensive understanding of Indigenous cultures
• Registered with Siksika Nation
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to think critically and solve problems
