Join our team as a Youth Support Worker, dedicated to offering compassionate care in North Battleford. Your role will include providing support and implementing activities to nurture youth in a residential setting.
In this position, you will be pivotal in guiding and inspiring youth. Your background in Child and Youth Care or related fields will enhance your effectiveness in building relationships and facilitating personal growth. Collaborating with a committed team will enable you to create individualized care plans that resonate with each young person’s needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver day-to-day therapeutic interventions and support
• Craft engaging activities promoting community involvement
• Maintain a protected, inclusive environment for all youths
• Collaborate with team members on personalized care strategies
• Act as a mentor, assisting youth in overcoming challenges
Requirements:
• Experience working with youth in care environments
• Understanding of Indigenous traditions and local issues
• Effective communication skills with families and team members
• Valid First Aid/CPR Level C certification needed
• Class 5 Driver’s License or higher required
