This training program offers a comprehensive Health Care Assistant certification with the mentorship of Northern Health. You will engage in full time studies while receiving a stipend, enabling hands-on experience. Participants are expected to commit to class attendance, balancing online and face-to-face learning opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
• Complete the Health Care Assistant certification program
• Attend and participate in all classes and clinical placements
• Apply for registration with the BC Care Aide Registry




• Comply with CRC requirements for vulnerable adults
• Sign a 12-month return of service agreement

Requirements:
• Canadian citizenship or Permanent Residency status
• Valid English proficiency test if applicable
• No prior HCA roles or completed educational program
• Personal laptop and internet connection
• Willingness to travel for clinical placements
