The Public Works division is searching for a dedicated Auto Service Technician to fill a permanent role. Applicants with current CUPE 12.1 membership are preferred. This role encompasses diagnosing mechanical failures and ensuring vehicle safety through inspections and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and repair municipal fleet vehicles and equipment
• Perform inspections per Ministry of Transportation standards
• Check and document completed work to maintain operational standards
• Utilize manuals and specifications for repair processes
• Maintain workplace cleanliness and tool accountability

Requirements:
• Preferred: 310T (Truck and Coach) license
• 5 years of experience as a 310T technician required
• Skilled in diagnostic equipment and schematic interpretation
• Proficient in welding techniques
• Strong Microsoft Office skills for documentation purposes
