Join the City of Saskatoon as a Seasonal Utility Operator. This full time winter position requires experience in operating various road maintenance equipment and a valid Class 1A Driver’s License.

Under the supervision of Supervisor VI, the Seasonal Utility Operator will effectively operate a variety of equipment including sweepers and snow ploughs while supporting Water and Waste Operations. This role needs someone with a Grade 10 education and three years of equipment operating experience. As part of the team, you'll aid in minor maintenance tasks and maintain service records accurately.

Key Responsibilities:
• Operate diverse roadways equipment like sweepers and snow ploughs
• Perform regular maintenance and servicing of equipment




• Assist Mechanics and Welders in repairs
• Maintain accurate service records for operations
• Document data for the Maintenance Management System

Requirements:
• Grade 10 education or equivalent
• Minimum three years' operating experience
• Valid Saskatchewan Class 1A Driver’s License
• Successful completion of Operator Certification
• Current driver’s abstract demonstrating safe driving
