This role involves working directly under the Recreation Therapy Manager to develop and implement therapeutic programs. You will assist with record-keeping, maintain therapeutic areas, and engage residents in various recreational activities. Your experience with senior populations and knowledge of mental health will aid in providing impactful support and fostering a nurturing setting.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the Recreation Therapy Manager on program execution
• Maintain daily attendance records and participation logs
• Clean and organize therapeutic equipment and areas




• Handle cash responsibly for related programs
• Support the orientation of new staff and volunteers

Requirements:
• Background in Recreation Therapy or working with seniors
• Certifications in CPR and Standard First Aid
• Current Class 5 driver’s license with clean record
• Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check
• Capable of managing emotional and challenging situations
