As a Registered Occupational Therapist, you'll work with children aged 2-18 to aid in their communication and developmental skills. This role emphasizes consultation, assessment, and intervention while fostering collaboration with families and educational teams. Your expertise will help build capacity in children’s everyday skills, promoting their growth in home, school, and community settings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support neurodivergent children through assessments and direct therapy
• Build capacity with parents and school staff
• Develop individual program plans for children
• Collaborate closely with educational teams and families
• Complete screening tools and assessments
Requirements:
• Registered or eligible Occupational Therapist in Alberta
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle access
• Experience with neurodivergent children preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Adaptable in changing environments
