We are seeking an experienced Powertrain OBD Calibration Engineer to work in the automotive industry. This hands-on position involves travel to Colorado for crucial diagnostics testing and system calibration.
As part of our team, you will engage in developing and implementing calibration solutions to fulfill CARB regulations. Your role includes managing all technical aspects of OBD diagnostics and conducting verification testing, while effectively utilizing key tools like INCA and Matlab. You will provide critical insights and reports on your assessments that influence project outcomes across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop solutions for OBD calibration across systems
• Manage technical calibrations in compliance with CARB




• Ensure requirements are met in hardware design
• Utilize standard tools for data acquisition and calibration
• Produce regular detailed reports on assignments
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• 3 years’ propulsion system experience
• Expertise in INCA, Matlab, and Simulink
• Familiarity with gasoline propulsion system hardware
• Experience in gas emissions calibration preferred
