This role requires an experienced health and safety professional dedicated to ensuring compliance with national regulations while working closely with the Production Team, Joint Health & Safety Committee, and Site Leadership. You will lead training efforts, develop safety controls, and conduct assessments. Your expertise will directly impact the safety culture as the sole practitioner in this growing facility.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead workplace safety initiatives and training sessions
• Implement safety standards and procedures




• Conduct risk assessments with the Joint Health and Safety Committee
• Monitor compliance with health regulations
• Develop emergency preparedness plans

Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in Occupational Health and Safety
• 3+ years of experience in health and safety
• Solid communication and organizational skills
• Experience with Microsoft and Google Suites
• Ability to work weekends and in cold environments
