Responsibilities:
Operating harvester to delimb & cut trees to specified length(s)
Maintain productivity and utilization targets, and work independently in remote environments.
Maintain the cleanliness of equipment-completion of daily checklists (ie. inspection, cleaning & maintaining equipment)
Follow all employer policies, including dress code, driving, cellular phone use, Health, and Safety
Ensure a secure work workplace in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task;
Requirements:
3 years experience as a harvester operator
Must have a clean driver abstract
50+ hours a week
Mechanical knowledge and skills considered an asset
Travel to and from block with company vehicle
Resolve any issues brought forward and problem solve for solution
Knowledge of tree species
Ability to operate required equipment in a secure and responsible manner
Comply with all safety policies and procedures

Compensation will be based on level of experience and/ or certifications
