Job Summary
Willing Education offers school-aged (5 to 12 years old) after school programs. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a positive learning environment and delivering engaging lessons to students.

Duties
Teach music curriculum to students in grades K-6, covering a range of topics including music theory, performance, and appreciation.
Lead students in music activities, including singing, movement
Plan and deliver engaging lessons that foster creativity and a love of music.
Support the development of student musical skills and knowledge in a variety of settings, from classroom instruction to performances.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom setting where students feel encouraged and supported.
Assess students' progress and provide feedback
Communicate effectively with parents regarding student performance

Requirements
A degree in Music, Music Education, or a related field (or equivalent experience).




Previous experience teaching music to children, ideally in an elementary school setting.
A passion for working with children and helping them develop their musical talents.
Robust communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
A positive, enthusiastic attitude and a commitment to fostering a fun, engaging, and welcoming classroom.
A explicit criminal record check
Must be at least 19 years of age
Class 5 Driver's License an asset

Proficiency in educational technology
Fluency in multiple languages
