Restaurant Host and Server

Kwality Restaurants is hiring three friendly and reliable team members for full-time and part time front-of-house positions.

Responsibilities:
Welcome guests and provide courteous, qualified service
Manage the entrance, waiting list and seating arrangements
Present menus, explain dishes and answer customer questions
Take dine-in, takeout and telephone orders accurately
Serve food and beverages efficiently and check on guest satisfaction
Process bills and customer payments accurately
Prepare tables and keep dining, host and service areas clean and organized
Refill service supplies and assist coworkers during busy periods
Follow food-safety, responsible-service and workplace-safety procedures
Complete opening, closing and general cleaning duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Restaurant, serving, hosting or customer-service experience is an asset but not required




Training will be provided
Friendly, dependable and able to communicate clearly with guests and coworkers
Comfortable standing for extended periods and working in a rapid-paced restaurant
Available for day, evening, weekend and holiday shifts
Smart Serve certification is an asset for employees serving alcohol

Job types: Permanent, full-time and part time

Pay: CA$17.60 per hour

Experience:
Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
