Overview

We are looking for a responsible and friendly Gas Station Cashier to join our team at Nevers Road Convenience / Esso, Waasis, NB. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, handle transactions accurately, and help maintain a clean and organized store environment.

Responsibilities
Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful service
Operate the POS system for cash, debit, and credit transactions
Handle lottery tickets, tobacco sales, and age-restricted products (ID checks required)
Restock shelves, fridges, and front counter items
Keep the store clean, including sweeping, mopping, and organizing displays
Maintain accurate cash handling and follow store procedures
Carries out daily opening and closing procedures based on assigned shift
Report any issues, shortages, or concerns to the supervisor/manager

Requirements
Must be reliable and punctual
Solid communication and customer service skills




Ability to work independently and follow instructions
Comfortable standing for long periods and handling busy times
Basic math and cash-handling skills
Must be at least 19 years old (to sell tobacco/lottery)
Previous cashier or convenience store experience is an asset (training provided)

Schedule
Part-time / Full time
Flexible shifts (day, evening, weekends as needed)
Up to 32 hours per week

Pay
$15.90 per hour (New Brunswick minimum wage)
In office parking
